In tech, we’ve put up flats on the stage and we’ve started to paint them. We’ve also started building the Hot Box.
This week in rehearsal, we’ve been working on the choreography for “Sit Down, You’re Rocking the Boat.” We’ve also started blocking scenes like the opening of the show, and the scene following “The Oldest Established.” We’ve been working very hard on our songs and our harmonies, especially “Sit Down, You’re Rocking the Boat” and “Luck Be a Lady.”
The cast has been working very hard on their songs for the fall show! That we’ve recently worked on are “The Oldest Established”, “Luck Be a Lady”, “Sit Down, You’re Rockin the Boat”, and “I’ll Know.” Today, we’ve got dance rehearsal, most likely blocking the opening of the show. This week in tech, we’ve been cleaning up the wood workshop, building a roof for an outside area, and preparing to work on the show. We’d also love to welcome our new Technical Director, Carter Dixon! Carter is the set designer as well, and we are sure he is a great addition to the Ampersand community!
